ISPO BEIJING 2016—Invigorating the Olympic spirit of China's sporting industry

Over the past 10 years, ISPO BEIJING has built on its reputation as the leading sports business platform in the Asia-Pacific region. The twelfth installment, held from February 24–27, achieved record numbers in terms of both visitors and exhibitors.

At ISPO BEIJING 2016, the focus was already fixed on the upcoming Winter Olympics in 2022. As Asia's leading multi-segment sports trade fair, this year’s event attracted 38,600 visitors—an increase of 29 percent compared to 2015 (29,948). 490 exhibitors participated in this year's show, representing some 700 brands (2015: 434), with all of the spaces at the China National Convention Center fully booked.

The trade fair showcased key innovations from the fields of outdoor, action sports, and skiing, and displayed the latest trends in sports fashion, fabrics, and fibers across an exhibition space of more than 40,000 square meters.
The events program, addressing core topics of the future, proved to be extremely popular. One of the highlights was the Asia Pacific Snow Conference (APSC), featuring the launch of the world’s first comprehensive report on China's ski industry.
